So before throwing out that old beat-up chair, or raggedy metal table, check with me first to see if it's worth some money! You'd be surprised what people will buy from you on eBay. You can sell your articles to sites like InfoBarrel .com where you will earn money for each article you post. I currently make $15 per 500 words (which doesn't take me long at all to write) and that adds up to over 1,000 dollars per month!

A virtual assistant (VA) is someone who works remotely assisting other people such as the CEO of a company, doing various tasks such as: making phone calls, sending emails, letters, and helping plan events. With sites like Odesk and Elance, you're able to create your profile where companies will hire you for VA jobs. The more skills and experience you have for this kind of work, the more likely you will be hired which can help you make extra money!
3. Become A Mystery Shopper
Mystery shopping is one of my personal favorites because not only do I get paid to shop around and rate different stores out of 5 stars but I get paid to keep whatever I buy from them too…my favorite store is Walmart! You get mystery shopped by companies such as Coyle where they will send different assignments to your email and you get paid for each assignment. You can also be a mystery shopper through companies such as BestMark with the same concept, only better pay!
4. Sell Things On Craigslist
Craigslist is an easy way to make quick cash by selling things that people may need there like furniture, appliances, electronics, cars, and even homes. It's a free online classified website and it is super simple to use. Just remember to meet in a public place when selling big-ticket items like vehicles and do not buy/transport anything if you do not know what it is because some scams can take place on Craigslist.
5. Make Money Online As A Web Developer
I am currently attending college for web design and development, but I have been interested in this subject since elementary school. If you are creative, passionate about computers/technology, and good at solving problems then this career path is perfect for you! It can be very difficult to make it as a developer especially if you do not have much experience which is why I recommended taking some classes first before actually trying to make money. Many jobs related to web development do not require certifications but you will need knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, PHP, MYSQL, and other coding languages.
6. Make Money On Mechanical Turk With Amazon
Amazon has its website called "Amazon Turk" named after their company and it is a website that pays people to work on micro-jobs such as: taking surveys, doing simple data entry, editing photos, among other things. The pay for these tasks are very low but if you work quickly and put in a lot of time then you should be able to make around $30 or so per week which shouldn't take up too much time…however I would not recommend spending more than 2 hours each day working on this website because it will drain your energy and your focus.
7. Become A Virtual Bookkeeper
Working as a virtual bookkeeper can allow you to work from home while helping small businesses keep track of their income and expenses. This kind of job can be done by anyone even if you have no experience because it only takes a short training course to become certified. Many companies hire virtual bookkeepers such as Intuit Virtual Bookkeeper, Quickbooks Virtual Services, and more!
8. Write For The Huffington Post
If you are someone who loves writing or has real opinions about the world then working for The Huffington Post might be perfect for you. They pay anywhere from $50-$100 for each article depending on where your knowledge lies. You can get paid to write about different topics that interest you whether it is celebrity news, politics, foreign affairs, sports, travel, cooking…etc.
9. Be An Extra In A Music Video
This kind of job may not seem like much but it could lead to a lot of exposure if you are dedicated. For example, Rihanna has appeared in numerous music videos and commercials since she began her career as an extra because someone liked what they saw… If you live in Los Angeles or New York then there are tons of casting agencies that work specifically with extras for music videos and television ads. All you have to do is sign up online, submit photos, audition , and sometimes even pay money! The downside about this job is that it may take some time before actually becoming successful but it's something worth trying.
