Corona Virus

Is History really repeating itself?

Or it's just we citizens are caught in a vicious web of this 'pandemic'.

Plague in 1720, Cholera outbreak in 1820, Spanish flu in 1920, and Now, the spine-tingling of them all the "COVID-19"(CORONA VIRUS).

The blood-curdling virus had been flared up from mighty China, not so Mighty anymore. It was first reported in the city called Wuhan in China in late 2019 since then it has created havoc. It was recognized as a PANDEMIC on the 11th of March 2020 by the WHO (World Health Organisation). Eating a bat by a netizen has changed the face of the planet altogether.

Humans are caged and may quote "nature is healing itself". This disaster certainly holds much more than what humans are able to envisage. The impact of this global menace is absolutely devastating. As of 19 April 2020, more than 2.32 million cases have been reported in 185 countries and territories, touching the number of people who died to 2,00,000.

Economies seem to be shaking, denizens are trapped, ministers are perplexed, scientists are baffled and above all the world has stopped since the very 4 months and 3 weeks.

The manifestation of this deadly virus is high temperature, tiredness, dry cough, nasal congestion, sore throat, and many others which vary from different age groups to people having different diseases. It almost takes 14 days to recognize the infection of this virus.

The best method to escape from this noxious virus is self-isolation otherwise you will be among the ones lying on the bed of "isolation-wards" separated from your beloved.

Our respected Prime minister and the worthy team of BJP are trying out every tactic to keep motherland India away from the threat of this virus. Be it Janta-curfew or the Aarogya setu app or his appeal to masses on several different occasions, he is keeping his best foot forward, trying from head to toe, to save the nation.

In the nutshell, I just want to mention stay home stay safe otherwise no human civilization would be left.

There are many types of coronaviruses on the earth. These are usually observed in Bats. These viruses cannot live more time in the air. They must require a platform to live. So they choose living organisms to survive. These viruses have changed their structure and adopted human physical conditions. So these days are increasing the population by human transmissions. They can travel from one person to another person via sneezing, touching each other....etc.

Usually, the world ends a year by dancing to the tunes of happiness and wholeheartedly welcoming the new year. But this year, things took a three-six degree turn in Wuhan, China, as it became the epicenter of one of the world’s deadliest diseases. Coronavirus also called COVID-19 was first identified in December 2019. The original cause of the virus is yet to be discovered but the trauma caused by this painful, tragical nanoparticle crushed almost every part of the globe.

The virus is mainly spread between people during close contact, often via droplets produced by coughing, sneezing, or talking. This nano-sized particle spread from human to human in less than 5 months causing nearly over 23,40,800 cases around the world leading to another painful pandemic. If you are wondering how you might be the next victim of this virus and if you are suffering from fever, dry cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, it is time for you to get yourself checked.

As the number of cases in China almost came to a standstill, the limelight shifted from China to Italy. Soon the USA and Spain were under the radar too. If you’re thinking India is in the safer zone, let me enlighten you that we have 16,000+ positive cases as of today. While the WHO (World Health Organisation), our very own doctors, nurses, and various medical staff put their lives on the line to protect ours, we must respect it and do our part. What does doing our part mean? Well, simply stay quarantined, stay home and stay safe. Remember all those hand wash advertisements between your movie intervals? It is time to recollect them and put them to good use.

1.) IMPACT OF CORONAVIRUS

The deadly Coronavirus is spreading like a wildfire all over the world. The impact of this novel virus not only affects human lives but also the economy in general. The brunt can also be seen in Asia's start-up ecosystem. According to the CB Insights report, financing for private companies in Asia is likely to slow down in the midst of this bat epidemic. However, it may rebound later. The stock market trends also showing a drastic change resulting in financial loss for the investors. The farmers are also suffering a lot due to the wastage of their crops. This virus is not friendly as it does not allow people to go outside for doing their work.

2.) NOWADAYS THE BIGGEST PROBLEMS IN THE SOCIAL MEDIA

Perhaps the biggest challenge people face is the amount of time they invest on certain social media networks. But, ironically, this is important today if you need a strong presence on social media. You can't leave the impact of cultural media signals that are important to bloggers and different professionals, can't you? Also, One of the biggest mistakes social media marketers can make is ignoring what their target audience really wants. Although they may have built this perfect position to put their social media posts on, this job may eventually, fail to deliver the desired point of contention if the message does not align with their target audience's expectations and desires.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.  Older people and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illnesses.

The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes, and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol-based rub frequently and not touching your face.

The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes, so it’s important that you also practice respiratory etiquette (for example, by coughing into a flexed elbow).

At this time, there are no specific vaccines or treatments for COVID-19. However, there are many ongoing clinical trials evaluating potential treatments. WHO will continue to provide updated information as soon as clinical findings become available.

Stay informed

Stay home, Stay Safe
